Cottoms Pies for Homes Initiative Raises £1500 for Teardrops Charity in a Heart-warming Christmas Initiative

Cottoms the famous pie and sausage maker, that has been based in St Helens since the 1940’s is delighted to announce the success of their fundraising campaign in support of Teardrops Charity which took place during the festive season. The company raised an impressive £1500 to aid Teardrops in their mission to support the homeless community.

This initiative, which ran throughout December and the first week of January, involved a pledge to donate 10p to Teardrops Charity for every family pie sold by Cottoms. The heart-warming effort aimed not only to spread joy through delicious meals but also to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those in need during the holiday season.

In addition to making the financial donation Cottoms regularly makes deliveries of their pies and sausages to the charity, to help them provide a satisfying meal and comfort to the homeless people visiting their centre.

Teardrops Charity, is dedicated to helping the homeless in St Helens and provides essential support services, including meals, shelter, and resources to individuals facing homelessness. It is dependent on a core team of reliable volunteers and one of its key aims is to respect the dignity of those they support.
